T.A.Y. coordinates local efforts to help youth transition into adult life with a strategy for dealing with mental, emotional challenges, addiction, abuse, trauma, bullying or victimization by using, evidence based, individually developed plans, mentoring, peer support and psychoeducational techniques to encourage emerging adults to take personal responsibility for their lives and work towards developing a wellness-oriented lifestyle
T.A.Y. is for people ages 12-25 seeking and maintaining long-term recovery from their own challenges, and long-term recovery from being affected by other people’s behaviors and challenges, including family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers
T.A.Y. is meant to be geographically convenient, culturally diverse and open to people seeking recovery. Mission Statement: " Last Chance - Youth Taking Action" provides supportive and educational environments of support and mentoring for at-risk transitioning youth
